Description

Business Analyst supporting an insurance client with the development and transformation of data and reporting environments. The role covers business requirements and process analysis for data/reporting solutions, creation of analytical and functional specifications, and collaboration with business users and delivery teams. You’ll also analyze large data volumes and support data quality validation through test scenarios and deployment assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and business processes for data and reporting solutions

  • Prepare analytical outputs, functional specifications, and project documentation

  • Collaborate with business users to define requirements and design solutions

  • Analyze large volumes of data for project work, testing, and data quality verification

  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and expected outcomes; support implementations

  • Work with project teams on data, reporting, and data warehouse solution design and delivery

Requirements

  • Strong SQL for independent data analysis

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business or systems analysis in data, data warehousing, or BI

  • Experience working with large volumes of data

  • Experience preparing analytical documentation and requirements specifications

  • Experience preparing test scenarios and test cases

  • Analytical thinking and ability to model business processes

  • Experience collaborating directly with business users

  • Ability to work with software teams during solution design and implementation

  • Communication skills and ability to translate business needs into project requirements
