Description

Lead the design, development, and validation of next-generation, high-speed PCIe-based board-level hardware products. Own the end-to-end lifecycle from architecture and high-speed schematic capture through multi-layer PCB layout supervision, signal/power integrity analysis, lab bring-up, and transition to production. Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams, and produce reference documentation to enable chip-down design of AI accelerator components.

Responsibilities

• Define hardware requirements and specifications; manage component selection and BOM

• Design complex multi-layer digital boards with PDNs, high-speed SerDes, PCIe Gen 4/5/6, BMCs, AI accelerators, FPGAs, CPUs, and high-speed memory (e.g., LPDDR5x)

• Analyze and optimize signal and power integrity (eye diagrams, crosstalk, jitter; PDN accuracy, noise, drop, thermal performance)

• Supervise PCB layout planning: stack-up/material selection, high-speed routing and power delivery constraints, placement, and thermal management

• Lead board bring-up, debugging, characterization, and lab validation

• Work cross-functionally with firmware/driver teams to ensure AI acceleration workload operation

• Support compliance testing (EMI/EMC, safety, protocol compliance, interoperability) and environmental reliability requirements

• Create and assemble reference design guides, schematics/layout notes, block diagrams, and validation procedures for external customers
