Description

You’ll own features and systems across the full stack for ARIA, including backend infrastructure, API design, and a React frontend that powers the chat interface and agent configuration. You’ll build and maintain distributed worker systems for running multi-turn agent conversations at scale and implement streaming architecture for real-time token output. You’ll also help secure and harden the agent’s code execution sandbox while collaborating with ML science, product, iOS, and SRE teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop ARIA agent features across backend and frontend
• Design APIs and build React UI components for chat, billing, and agent configuration
• Implement distributed worker systems to run agent conversations at scale
• Build streaming architecture for real-time token output to the browser
• Harden security controls for sandboxed code execution (including egress controls and payload validation)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and product quality end to end

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a relevant technical or quantitative field
• 4+ years of full stack engineering experience with meaningful depth in backend services and React/TypeScript frontend development
• Strong Python backend skills: async patterns, FastAPI, distributed state machines, Kubernetes pod lifecycle
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, including real-time streaming interfaces and complex state management
• Experience operating services at scale (rolling deploys, autoscaling, worker concurrency, graceful termination)
• Experience with observability tooling and building dashboards that surface actionable signals
• Security-conscious engineering mindset: input validation, sandboxed code execution, egress controls, payload hardening
• Experience with MySQL or similar RDBMS for transactional state management
