Description

Join a team supporting system-of-systems interoperability assessments and CJADC2 data-centricity initiatives for the Joint Staff J6 JAD. You will design, develop, maintain, test, and deploy software and related data-collection components while delivering actionable insights. Work includes coding, database development, automation scripting, documentation, and prototyping new technologies in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the software and hardware data-collection components across the system engineering life cycle

• Write clean, well-documented, testable code following established coding standards

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Work in an Agile development environment with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Write documentation, including technical specifications and user guides

• Design and implement database schemas; develop triggers and queries to support analysis

• Automate processes by creating scripts and improving workflow efficiency

• Identify improvement opportunities and suggest innovative solutions

• Research and prototype new technologies

• Interact with customers and peer groups to align on solution design and operations

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or higher; ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ years (additional experience may substitute)

• Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures

• Proficiency in at least one language: C#, Java, C++, or JavaScript

• Familiarity with relational databases: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with Git

• Current baseline certification meeting IAT-2 (e.g., CompTIA Security+)

• Professional writing and oral presentation skills; Microsoft Office proficiency

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Benefits

• Pay range: $69,550.00 - $125,725.00 (general guideline only)
