Description

Join an engineering team delivering software solutions by building and expanding scalable systems and applications based on Java architecture. The role emphasizes high technical standards, performance, and well-crafted solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Java-based applications using Java 8+ and J2EE technologies
• Design and implement software solutions following sound architecture and design principles
• Develop and maintain integrations and services using REST and SOAP
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Develop and maintain automated tests following TDD practices using JUnit 4+ and Mockito
• Diagnose system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
• Develop utilities and tools to automate data and result processing and analysis
• Monitor and improve code quality and contribute to development standards and metrics
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git (branching and merging)
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and technical leaders to solve challenges and deliver high-quality solutions
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Work independently on assigned tasks and take ownership of delivery
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices
• Work with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Java 8+ / Core Java / J2EE
• Good understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills
• Experience with Spring Framework 5
• Experience with Hibernate / ORM frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Apache Camel and Tomcat
• Experience working with RESTful and SOAP-based services
• Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, particularly Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with Git and CI/CD, including branching and merging
• Practical experience with TDD, JUnit 4+, and Mockito
• Experience with system diagnostics, debugging, profiling, and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of logging frameworks and troubleshooting through logs
• Understanding of code quality and software metrics
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical leaders, architects, and developers
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
• AWS experience is a plus
