Description

Locum tenens Urology Physician position at an acute care hospital in York, PA starting 12/28/26 for 13 weeks. You will diagnose and manage urological disorders and perform a range of surgical and non-surgical urological procedures, including cystoscopies and prostate-related surgeries. The role also includes consultation, patient education, and accurate medical recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage urological disorders (e.g., UTIs, kidney stones, prostate issues)
• Perform urological surgical interventions (e.g., cystoscopies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans
• Provide consultation services for critically ill patients
• Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and post-care management
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Urology residency training accredited by ACGME or AOA
• Board certification in urology (ABU) or (AOBS)
• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• Urology fellowship training may be required
• Preferred: at least one year of clinical experience
