Description

Locum tenens urology physician assignment providing 24-hour on-call coverage at an acute care hospital for 13 weeks. You will diagnose and manage urological disorders, perform urologic surgical interventions, and work with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage urological disorders (e.g., UTIs, kidney stones, prostate issues)
• Perform surgical interventions (e.g., cystoscopies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies)
• Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients
• Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and post-care management
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Urology residency training accredited by ACGME or AOA
• Board certification in urology by ABU or AOBS
• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license
• Fellowship training in urology may be required
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
