Description

Board-eligible or board-certified urologist needed for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing 24-hour weekend call coverage in an acute care hospital. This is an on-call–only position with no scheduled clinic responsibilities, focused on general urology coverage for inpatient and ER adult patients. Higher-acuity trauma cases are typically transferred to a tertiary care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and emergency department urology coverage for adult patients

• Manage inpatient consults and ER call independently

• Support a community hospital urology team

Requirements

• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Urology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• DEA required

• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Proficient in general urology

• Comfortable managing inpatient consults and ER call independently

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
