Description

This is a full-time hospitalist position providing evening shift admissions and inpatient rounding. The role emphasizes floor calls with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support and supervision, working alongside a stable physician-led team and in-house Critical Care. You’ll contribute to quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide night shift hospitalist coverage (2 PM–12 AM), 7 on/7 off
• Perform admissions and inpatient patient rounding
• Supervise and collaborate with APPs (PAs/NPs)
• Collaborate with the in-house Critical Care team
• Support quality, safety, and patient-experience improvement efforts

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active ability to practice (licensure/credentialing as required)
• Experience with hospital admissions and inpatient rounding
• Ability to supervise/collaborate with APPs
• Ability to cover the evening shift schedule (2 PM–12 AM, 7 on/7 off, 10-hour shifts)
