Description

Evening hospitalist admitting coverage at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina, with a stable, physician-led hospitalist team. You will handle admissions and inpatient rounding, supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (PAs/NPs), and work closely with in-house Critical Care for 24/7 ICU management.

Responsibilities

• Provide night shift hospitalist coverage (2 PM – 12 AM), 7 on/7 off (10 hour shifts)

• Perform admissions and inpatient patient rounding

• Supervise and collaborate with APP

• Collaborate with the in-house Critical Care team

• Contribute to quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives

Requirements

• Board certified hospitalist physician (IM or FP)

• Ability to supervise and collaborate with APPs

• Experience managing inpatient admissions and rounding
