Description

Provide acute care trauma and emergency surgical coverage at a Level II Trauma Center. Manage inpatient surgical and trauma patients and deliver surgical critical care services as needed, collaborating with an APP supporting inpatient rounding. Must respond to all pagers within 20 minutes; there is no requirement to remain in-house during call.

Requirements

• Board certification in General Surgery required

• Surgical Critical Care certification preferred

• Experience in acute care surgery and trauma coverage preferred

• Ability to provide 24-hour call coverage and respond to pages within 20 minutes
