Description

Provide ongoing general surgery coverage for acute care trauma call at a Level II Trauma Center. During assigned call coverage, you must remain in-house and answer all pages within 20 minutes. Consistent weekly blocks are available throughout 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house 24-hour call coverage during assigned weeks

• Manage acute surgical and trauma emergencies

• Remain in-house and respond to pages within 20 minutes

• Work with the APP supporting inpatient rounding

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery

• Surgical Critical Care certification/experience preferred

• Level II Trauma setting experience preferred

• Strong acute care and trauma surgery skills

• Comfortable managing inpatient surgical emergencies

• Ability to provide in-house 24-hour call coverage

• Able to respond to pages within 20 minutes
