Description

Work in a collaborative behavioral health team providing inpatient psychiatric care in a 24-bed unit. You will evaluate and treat adult and adolescent patients and provide ER and general hospital psychiatric consultations. You’ll partner with psychiatrists, APPs, social workers, and discharge teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatric patients

• Provide ER and general hospital psychiatric consultations

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, APPs, social workers, and discharge teams

Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatrist

• Comfortable treating patients across all ages and diagnoses

• Willing to collaborate with another psychiatrist on a rotating schedule

• Availability for orientation before the first scheduled shift
