Description

Provide outpatient electrophysiology (EP) clinic coverage and inpatient EP consultations, rounding, and weekend EP call support. Perform inpatient pacemaker implantation and direct-current cardioversion (DCCV), including EP case management and telephone call coverage after 5 PM. Care is primarily for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Cover outpatient EP clinic
• Provide inpatient EP consultation and rounding
• Participate in weekend EP call coverage
• Perform inpatient pacemaker implantation
• Perform DCCV/cardioversion
• Manage EP-related inpatient cases
• Provide telephone EP call coverage after 5 PM
• Collaborate with interventional and general cardiology teams
• Document patient care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• MD/DO required
• Board Certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology required
• Active Cardiology/EP practice experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must demonstrate active cardiology practice within the previous 24 months
• EP case documentation required: ~30 EP cases within the previous 24 months
• If requesting ablation privileges: document at least 30 ablation cases within the previous year
• Epic experience required
• Washington/Oregon licensing will be evaluated as applicable
