Description

Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services for adult patients. Responsibilities include EP consultations, outpatient EP clinic care, inpatient EP coverage, and common device and ablation procedures. Documentation is completed in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult EP patients

• Perform EP consultations

• Manage outpatient EP clinic patients and provide inpatient EP coverage

• Perform pacemaker implantations

• Perform traditional and subcutaneous ICD implantations

• Perform loop recorder implantation and explantation

• Perform EP ablations: AVN, SVT, atrial flutter

• Collaborate with an assigned outpatient clinical team and inpatient APP

• Document patient care in Epic EMR

Patient Volume

• ~16 outpatient patients/day

• ~10–15 inpatient patients/day

• Adult patient population (~18–100 years)

Requirements

• MD/DO required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required for submission

• DEA required

• BLS and ACLS required

• Cardiology/Electrophysiology experience required

• Comfortable providing inpatient and outpatient EP care

• Epic EMR experience required
