Description

Pediatric Neurologists with epilepsy/EEG expertise are needed for flexible inpatient or remote coverage options. The inpatient role covers 24-hour shifts from Monday 8:00 AM through the following Monday 8:00 AM, including Epilepsy Monitoring Unit coverage and frequent EEG interpretation. The remote option provides fully remote night EEG reading with a laptop and Natus EEG software.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric epilepsy coverage, including Epilepsy Monitoring Unit responsibilities

• Interpret inpatient EEGs for both epilepsy monitoring and outpatient EEG volume

• For remote coverage, interpret approximately 5 EEGs per night during 5:00 PM–8:00 AM

Requirements

• Pediatric Neurology physician

• Strong epilepsy and EEG experience

• Inpatient pediatric epilepsy experience preferred

• Remote coverage: familiarity with Natus EEG platform required

• Clean background and malpractice history required for temporary privileges

• Epic EMR experience preferred
