Description

Work as an Emergency Medicine locum tenens physician in a community-based, resource-limited Emergency Department on the Massachusetts coast. This assignment emphasizes independent decision-making with limited onsite specialty support and a broad spectrum of cases. Nights are preferred, with a flexible monthly shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent Emergency Medicine care across a broad case mix

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, including pediatric patients (~14%)

• Manage care in a Critical Access ED with limited specialty support

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

• Active Massachusetts license

• ACLS certification

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
