Description

Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians are needed for locum coverage in a newly remodeled Critical Access Hospital emergency department. The position features an 8-bed ED with a variety of patient acuity and presentations and strong support from in-house/on-call hospitalist services. 24/7 radiology and laboratory support are available, along with experienced ED nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care across a variety of patient acuity and presentations

• Cover assigned overnight shifts

• Collaborate with available hospitalist support for admissions

Requirements

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician

• ATLS required

• ACLS, PALS & NRP required

• Comfortable working in a Critical Access/rural ED setting

• Strong preference for providers available for night coverage
