Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python. Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices, deploy and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure (GCP acceptable), and implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing. Work with Docker and Kubernetes in production while collaborating in an Agile/Scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices

• Work with Microsoft Azure to design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions (GCP acceptable)

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments

• Participate in Agile/Scrum planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in Python backend development (senior level)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (priority) for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions

• Experience with GCP acceptable as an alternative

• Proven experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production

• Practical experience working with GraphQL

• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling

• Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and e2e testing and code quality tools

• Version control proficiency with Git

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud/backend environments

• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams
