Description

You will work with the Financial Resource Management (FRM) team to design and code cutting-edge solutions for a new product suite of modern applications that enhance Citi’s loan hedging capabilities.

In this role, you will take ownership across the software development lifecycle and ensure applications remain performant, stable, and secure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in feasibility analysis, estimation, and technical planning for new and existing applications
• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable application solutions across the full development lifecycle
• Analyze complex technical and business problems and propose effective, high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions
• Ensure application performance, stability, and security through monitoring and post-implementation improvements
• Maintain code quality through development standards, best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions and enhancements
• Continuously evaluate and improve system design, development processes, and technologies

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in systems analysis and developing modern full-stack applications
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL
• Solid understanding of clean code and design patterns; ability to write testable and performant code
• Relational database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Angular experience (v11 or newer) is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills with fluency in English
• Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience
