• Focus: Architecture and active development of a digital transformation platform for insurance claims processing (damage liquidation)

Description

You will design and build a new system from scratch for processing insurance-related settlements and document the system architecture. As Tech Lead/Architect in a Scrum team, you will actively code (including agentic coding) and guide technology direction, architectural decisions, integration standards, and quality/security. You will also ensure scalable, resilient microservices based on Event-Driven Architecture with end-to-end observability.

Responsibilities

• Design a new platform for claims/disbursement processing (damage liquidation) and document the architecture

• Build and actively develop distributed microservices (agentic coding)

• Own Tech Lead/Architect responsibilities in a Scrum team: technical direction and architectural decisions

• Perform feasibility analyses, define delivery assumptions, and estimate engineering and architecture effort

• Define technology standards; ensure code quality; support operational and security requirements

• Assign tasks, conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, mentor, and develop team competencies

• Lead architecture workshops; co-create technology roadmap; assess technical risks

• Design and oversee system integrations, API governance, and performance/scalability

• Collaborate with Product Owner and business to refine requirements

• Use cloud tools and AI/agentic SDLC in the development process

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the insurance domain

• 5+ years designing and overseeing system architecture

• Very strong Java knowledge with hands-on development using Spring/Spring Boot

• Practical experience with microservices architecture for scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed systems

• Strong knowledge of architectural/integration patterns and API governance

• Experience designing integrations and Event-Driven Architecture solutions

• Use of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in system design

• Experience with relational databases and query optimization

• Practical experience implementing end-to-end observability

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and cloud

• Experience leading technical execution: task allocation, code review, mentoring, and architecture workshops

• English at B2 minimum
