Description

You will design from scratch a new distributed microservices architecture for a claims/benefits reporting system and document the architecture. You will guide development direction, ensure technology standards and code quality, coordinate delivery, and support implementation through deployment and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Design a new claims system in a distributed microservices architecture and document the architecture
• Build the system using agentic coding
• Produce feasibility analyses and implementation assumptions for further development
• Define the system evolution direction and ensure technology standards and code quality
• Estimate effort for software and architectural tasks and required resources
• Coordinate delivery tasks, supervise implementation, conduct code reviews, and create technical documentation
• Ensure operational and security requirements are met in delivered solutions
• Provide developer support during development, deployment, and stabilization

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supervising system architecture (preferably insurance)
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring
• Ability to create scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed architectures
• Very good knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices
• Experience in cloud and infrastructure automation
• Practical knowledge of DDD and experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• Practical knowledge of API governance
• Experience with end-to-end observability
• Experience leading code review, mentoring, and architectural workshops
• Experience co-creating technology roadmaps and assessing risks
• English level at least B2
• Availability for coordination meetings in Warsaw (approximately 3 times per week), with the rest remote
