Description

Join an AI platform team serving internal investment-banking clients. Develop and maintain Java applications and build scalable solutions using Azure services, REST APIs, databases/ORM, CI/CD, and observability tooling.

The team processes large datasets for multiple use cases, combining classic machine learning models with modern generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
• Utilize Azure services and technologies to build scalable and efficient applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development and cloud computing

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java
• Proficiency in Java 18+ and Spring Boot
• Expertise in API development, including RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger
• Background in databases and ORM technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Hibernate/JPA
• Skills in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Splunk
• Competency in testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito/JBehave
• Understanding of messaging and integration using Kafka and REST
• Security and authentication experience with OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security
• Capability to work with microservice architecture style
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Experience working in the financial services industry
• Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies
• Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Flexibility to use Kubernetes
