Senior Java Developer (backend) for a long-term project developing a banking application platform. Hybrid work with 1 day per week on-site in selected Polish locations (Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Kraków, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, Rzeszów, Szczecin). Availability required immediately, up to 30 days; rate up to 1425 PLN net/day depending on experience (UoP available).

Description

Work on the backend development of a platform supporting a banking application, aligned with the client’s digital transformation strategy. The scope includes building new solutions and implementing initiatives such as AI, process automation, mobile applications, and data platforms. You will deliver high-quality code through design, documentation, and testing while partnering with business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and mentoring to less experienced developers.
• Create high-quality code.
• Design and document technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, IT architects, and the business client.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial backend development experience.
• Java 11+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot 3.5+.
• Hazelcast/Redis, JPA + Hibernate.
• Microservices architecture and hexagonal architecture experience.
• Practical DDD knowledge.
• Integration interfaces: SOAP, REST, Kafka.
• SQL experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Ability to effectively use AI in the software development process.
• Experience with design patterns for software and integrations.
• Knowledge of resilience patterns/mechanisms for distributed systems.
• Experience applying SOLID, DRY, KISS principles.
• Ability to choose and create test types for the software.
• Understanding of tools and methods for diagnostics and application performance optimization.
• Deployment tools/practices: Maven, Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes.
