Description

Work on data-driven solutions supporting allocation and replenishment of goods across retail and e-commerce warehouses, improving product availability and streamlining warehouse flows. You will design and implement scalable, efficient data processing pipelines, automate data flows, and analyze/optimize ETL processes, SQL code, and database structures while ensuring data quality through monitoring, validation, and cleaning. The environment includes large-scale databases (terabytes) using SQL Server, plus cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), with supporting services built in Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for allocation and replenishment in retail and e-commerce warehouses

• Design and implement efficient, scalable data processing processes

• Automate data flows

• Analyze and optimize ETL processes, SQL code, and database structures

• Build monitoring mechanisms and data validation/cleaning processes

• Collaborate with analysts and business/technical teams to turn business needs into data solutions

Requirements

• Very strong practical SQL knowledge, including complex query development and optimization

• Experience with databases or data warehouses

• Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Python knowledge (e.g., Pandas, FastAPI)

• Strong data analysis skills and ability to solve complex problems

• High care for data quality and consistency; responsibility for assigned work

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

• Initiative and openness to proposing improvements and different problem-solving approaches

• Nice to have: cloud technologies knowledge, especially Azure or Google Cloud Platform (including BigQuery)
