Description

As a Big Data Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architecture in a Big Data environment. You will execute complex data analysis using advanced SQL, ensure data quality/integrity/performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex data analysis and write advanced SQL queries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer in a Big Data environment
• Strong expertise in complex data analysis and advanced SQL querying
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Big Data processing frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Familiarity with Databricks and Power BI (or similar BI tools) is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery practices
• Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with global stakeholders
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
