Description

Support the development, integration, validation, and optimization of motorsport electronic systems, connectivity solutions, and software applications for professional racing programs. Work alongside simulation and software engineers on vehicle/power unit simulation, telemetry data analysis and visualization, and system testing (including Hardware-in-the-Loop and cloud/system-level validation). Own dedicated graduate-level project deliverables by the end of the term.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation activities, sensitivity analysis, model development, and comparison to dyno/test/track data

• Analyze and visualize simulation and telemetry data using MATLAB, Python, WinDarab, and other engineering tools

• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop, cloud, and system-level testing; investigate discrepancies and document findings

• Assist with development, testing, and deployment of motorsport connectivity and telemetry systems

• Support application engineering by understanding customer requirements for motorsport products/services

• Develop automation tools such as scripts, dashboards, and automated reporting workflows

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science/Analytics (or dual degree) from an accredited four-year institution

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

• Must be 18 years or older

• 3+ years of hands-on motorsport or relevant experience with vehicle, ICE, and/or hybrid controls
