Description

Design, build, test, deploy, and operate secure, scalable cloud services and APIs that power collaboration between Microsoft and its partners. Own features end to end—from technical design and implementation through deployment and production support—across APIs, data processing, authentication/authorization, and asynchronous workflows. Deliver reliable, observable, maintainable solutions using telemetry, logging, and automated test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable cloud services and APIs
• Deliver features end to end, including deployment and production support
• Build solutions using APIs, data processing, authentication and authorization, and asynchronous workflows
• Write high-quality, maintainable, well-tested code (unit, integration, automated tests)
• Implement authentication/authorization, data synchronization, and async processing with correct handling of retries, failures, and edge cases
• Add telemetry, logging, and alerts; monitor service health and diagnose issues
• Participate in on-call rotation and live-site support; investigate production issues and improve reliability
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and partner teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions
• Learn and apply engineering standards, security/compliance practices, and responsible use of approved AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with proven coding experience OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
