Description

Software Engineer III role focused on building and improving web-based features for desktop and mobile, including implementing telemetry, automation, security, and non-functional requirements. You will translate stakeholder and technical requirements into user stories, traceability matrices, design/test cases, and end-to-end testing, while troubleshooting performance, availability, and defects. You will also support CI/CD automation, code review, documentation, and complex maintenance of live applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements; support solution analysis and iteration (agile)

• Prepare and maintain requirement traceability across business requirements, functional requirements, design, and test cases

• Create user stories for component/module/simple requirements

• Implement minimalistic code for components/applications to meet functional and non-functional requirements (low maintainability, high availability, high scalability)

• Select appropriate programming languages, development standards, and tools

• Learn and apply additional coding language/framework fundamentals as needed

• Build automation scripts for repetitive tasks in CI/CD, testing, and related processes

• Implement telemetry features independently

• Apply security policy requirements during development/configuration

• Map customer requirements to test objectives; create and execute test cases

• Perform multiple types of testing with appropriate tools; track and analyze defects; run regression testing

• Troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks; perform complex maintenance and re-engineering

• Monitor and analyze metrics; review logs and data; evaluate change requests for feasibility

• Ensure adherence to milestones and timelines

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field

• OR bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the same fields plus 2 years of experience in software engineering (or related)
