Description

You will lead end-to-end DSP and hardware algorithm development, covering system architecture, algorithm exploration/trade studies, implementation, lab verification, and delivery. Work includes prototyping in MATLAB, validating with hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit-true models, and implementing on FPGA/ASIC using Verilog or VHDL. You will also mentor DSP/implementation engineers and communicate effectively with the design team and customers.

Requirements

• Thorough DSP knowledge including RF communications, synchronization, and high-speed ADC/DAC systems

• Hardware implementation experience for DSP algorithms (MATLAB prototyping; precision/dynamic-range determination; validation via hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit-true modeling)

• FPGA or ASIC implementation using Verilog or VHDL

• Experience supporting all design-phase aspects: system architecture, algorithm exploration/trade studies, design reviews, lab verification, and delivery

• Ability to mentor and provide oversight of DSP engineers and/or implementation teams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for design team and customer meetings

• BSEE with at least 10 years of experience (MSEE preferred)

• US citizenship required

• Active TS security clearance is a plus
