Description

Help carry out office activities for one or more county program areas by interpreting and explaining procedures, program regulations, and forms to producers and agency personnel. Use web-based software applications to maintain producer data and process automated forms. Apply initiative and judgment to plan tasks, resolve problems, and support program operations.

Responsibilities

• Use initiative and judgment to plan assigned tasks and resolve issues

Requirements

• US Citizen or US National

• Selective Service registered or exempt (if applicable)

• Satisfactory background investigation and/or fingerprint check adjudication

• REAL ID and/or Passport, U.S. Military card, or current PIV card required for completion

• Successful completion of a one-year probationary period (unless previously served)

• Direct Deposit required

• Pass E-Verify employment verification

• High school graduate or GED

• Age requirements: 18+ (or 17 for high school graduates)

• Meet qualification/eligibility requirements by closing date through education and/or work experience supporting agricultural operations, agricultural management, and governmental programs, including the ability to analyze problems, gather data, plan/organize work, resolve conflict, communicate effectively, and apply analytical/evaluative techniques to assess program effectiveness/efficiency
