Description

You will architect and build the intelligent software powering smart entry devices for global physical access control. The role focuses on embedded Linux controller firmware in Go, secure credential flows using BLE and RFID/NFC, real-time device-to-cloud synchronization via WebSockets, and scalable APIs across device, mobile, and cloud teams. You’ll also use AI-assisted coding agents daily to accelerate design, implementation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and write robust controller firmware primarily in Go for embedded Linux environments
• Develop secure credential flows for mobile and card access using BLE and RFID/NFC
• Integrate peripherals with hardware (e.g., GPIO, relays, serial devices)
• Ensure reliable device-to-cloud communication for real-time sync and event reporting using WebSockets
• Use AI coding agents daily to plan, implement, and test production software
• Collaborate with hardware, mobile, and cloud teams to define device capabilities and build scalable APIs
• Diagnose field issues using telemetry, reproduce on real hardware, and ship fleet reliability fixes

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep expertise in Go or a systems programming language (C, C++, Rust) with strong concurrency knowledge
• Proven hands-on experience on embedded Linux or constrained ARM targets
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces including GPIO, I2C, SPI, and serial connections
• Daily practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools for production development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
