Description

You will help build and improve tools that strengthen the security of the software supply chain and support engineers in delivering business solutions securely. The role emphasizes modern, secure-by-design software development, collaboration with other teams to embed security, and continuous learning of emerging security trends.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of tools that improve software supply-chain security and reliability

• Learn and apply modern secure development practices, including DevSecOps and SRE

• Collaborate with other development teams to integrate security across their work

• Explore and adopt new technologies and trends for protecting software supply chains

Requirements

• Passion for building reliable software in an agile team

• Experience with cloud-native applications and modern CI/CD tools with AI

• Java/Spring Boot engineering experience (and motivation to learn Go)

• Exposure to or interest in cloud/containerized application development (Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and message systems like Kafka (or strong drive to learn)

• Team-oriented innovator with interest in scalable systems and new technologies

• Ability to operate with independence and limited direct supervision; able to advise/coach junior analysts/engineers
