Description

A hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable Java enterprise applications in a regulated environment. You will lead solution architecture and implementation of microservices and REST APIs, while identifying and integrating AI/ML capabilities (including LLM APIs) into production workflows. The role includes rapid prototyping, deployment ownership, and troubleshooting across development, integration, and production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
• Lead solution architecture, technical design, and hands-on implementation
• Translate business challenges into technical requirements and deployable solutions
• Build REST APIs, backend services, and enterprise integrations
• Diagnose complex issues across development, integration, and production
• Work directly with client teams to identify modernization and automation opportunities
• Prototype, customize, and deploy solutions as business needs evolve
• Own delivery from discovery and architecture through implementation and deployment
• Bridge business operations, product management, and engineering
• Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions in regulated financial environments
• Identify opportunities to embed AI/ML in enterprise applications
• Integrate LLM APIs, AI-powered services, and automation into Java systems
• Support AI-driven workflows for credit processing, financial operations, and decision support
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to operationalize solutions
• Evaluate generative AI, RAG, and AI agents

Requirements

• 8+ years in enterprise software development and technical solution delivery
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and microservices experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and distributed systems
• Experience with enterprise integrations, SQL, and system architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices
• Strong client-facing communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills
