Description

Support mission-critical backend environments used by Mission/Operations users and desktops, including authentication, DNS, shared drives, and home directories. You will monitor supported systems, review team communications, and work tasks in JIRA. The team also performs DevOps and live systems sustainment, requiring strong cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with large mixed teams and multiple stakeholders
• Monitor Linux and Windows systems (physical systems and VMs)
• Review mission-critical updates and identify hot issues
• Execute tasks from JIRA tickets
• Support backend environment services: authentication, DNS, share drives, and home directories
• Coordinate effectively with other system administrators, system engineers, and network engineers across contracts and customer tasking

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Linux administration experience meeting LCAT expectations
• Solid compliance experience on Linux systems
• Storage management experience (CFS/DFS, NetApp)
• Virtualization experience (Proxmox, RH KVM, VMware)
• IP networking and firewall experience
• Some experience with containers and/or cloud environments
