Description

You will help manage and develop server infrastructure and data center services. The role includes administering Linux servers (mostly Debian), running Proxmox VE virtualization, keeping systems updated, monitoring services, and diagnosing production issues. You will also collaborate on infrastructure projects, communicate with corporate customers about technical requirements, and contribute to documentation. After onboarding, you will participate in on-call service outside normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (primarily Debian)

• Operate and run the Proxmox VE virtualization platform

• Install, configure, maintain, and regularly update operating systems and applications

• Monitor servers and services, evaluate events, and resolve operational problems

• Diagnose and fix faults in server infrastructure

• Support infrastructure development and implementation of new technology projects

• Communicate with corporate customers and handle their technical requests

• Optionally assist with Windows Server administration

• Create and update technical documentation

• Participate in off-hours on-call duties after onboarding

Requirements

• Secondary vocational education (ideally technical)

• Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line orientation

• Basic knowledge of computer networks and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)

• Excellent Czech

• Communicative English

• Ability to independently analyze problems and seek solutions

• Carefulness, responsibility, and a systematic approach

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve skills
