Description

You will manage, develop, and optimize Linux infrastructure and related services, with an emphasis on Debian and Ubuntu. The role covers operational support and incident handling as well as proactive analysis of performance, stability, security, and operational efficiency to propose and implement improvements. Responsibilities include patch management/lifecycle management, root-cause troubleshooting, collaboration with application/network/security teams, and maintaining technical and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Senior-level Linux administration knowledge, especially Ubuntu and Debian
• Practical experience administering and troubleshooting Linux servers in a production environment
• Experience with webhosting platforms, web servers, and related services
• Ability to work independently, analyze current infrastructure, and propose concrete technical improvements
• Scripting and automation experience (ideally Bash, Python, or Ansible)
• Experience planning and managing Linux server updates with availability and security in mind
• Ability to systematically analyze problems and find root causes
• Knowledge of Linux server hardening and security principles
