Description

Design, develop, integrate, enhance, and support secure enterprise web applications and digital identity-verification solutions. Build responsive, accessible, and secure front-end interfaces; scalable back-end services and business logic; and secure REST API integrations with Experian (or comparable) identity-proofing platforms for identity workflows, risk-based decisioning, authentication, and fraud prevention. Collaborate with solution architects, cybersecurity, QA, infrastructure, and external vendors to deliver reliable, high-performing, and auditable services aligned with enterprise security, privacy, accessibility, and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development across secure UI components, back-end services/APIs, and business logic through the SDLC

• Implement identity-verification user experiences: enrollment/verification workflows, validation, async response handling, error/exception management

• Design and integrate secure RESTful services consuming identity-proofing APIs (verification workflows, risk signals, decision/response handling)

• Implement API security (REST/JSON, API gateways, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS/certificates, token auth, secrets management, least privilege)

• Apply identity security and data protection: encryption, PII masking/protection, retention controls, audit logging, transaction traceability, fraud mitigation

• Execute unit/integration/API/functional/regression/accessibility/performance/security testing and troubleshoot UI/API/authentication/identity-verification issues

• Support DevSecOps: CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing, configuration management, monitored releases, SIEM integration, incident troubleshooting, documented rollbacks

• Maintain technical documentation (designs, UI specs, API integration docs, workflow configuration, deployment/runbooks)

Requirements

• 5+ years full SDLC software development and integration experience

• Strong front-end skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript; Angular/React or comparable)

• Strong back-end/API engineering experience (server-side components, REST APIs, business logic, secure integration)

• Experience integrating Experian or comparable identity-verification APIs and workflows

• Strong API security and authentication/authorization experience (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, mTLS, API gateways, certificates, token auth, secrets management, least privilege)

• Knowledge of secure coding and identity standards (NIST SP 800-63), encryption, PII protection, audit logging, retention controls, fraud mitigation

• Testing and troubleshooting experience across multiple test types; knowledge of monitoring/logging and SIEM integration

• DevSecOps/release management experience (Git, reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, vulnerability remediation, controlled deployments, rollback)

• Ability to produce technical documentation and collaborate cross-functionally
