Description

You will lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Django applications, building secure, scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. You will design RESTful services, microservices, and event-driven architectures, and drive integrations between internal apps, cloud platforms, and third-party services. You will mentor engineers through code reviews, enforce best practices, optimize performance and database scalability, and oversee CI/CD and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture/design/development/deployment of enterprise-grade Django applications
• Build scalable, secure, high-performance backend systems and APIs
• Lead development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Drive integration initiatives across internal applications, external systems, cloud, and third-party services
• Develop and maintain interfaces using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging queues, and middleware platforms
• Optimize application performance and database design/scalability
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance

Requirements

• 9+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Extensive experience designing and consuming REST APIs, web services, and microservices
• Strong experience with enterprise integrations (third-party APIs and ERP/CRM/payment/identity integrations)
• Experience with OAuth2, SAML, and/or OpenID Connect (e.g., Azure AD)
• Asynchronous processing experience using Celery and technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, and/or Kafka
• Strong database knowledge and optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with Azure Cloud Platform
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and CI/CD processes
• Strong software architecture, security, and scalability knowledge
