Description

Perform radiologic and technical procedures, preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients for the technical component of scans and treatments. Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic scans, and support training and department operations, including QA/QC and equipment maintenance to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic and technical procedures across patient populations
• Prepare patients for the technical components of scans and treatments
• Operate imaging equipment to produce scans
• Provide support and training assistance
• Assist the Lead and Department with equipment maintenance
• Assist with QA/QC programs for regulatory and accreditation compliance
• Serve as a department liaison

Requirements

• Completion of an Allied health accredited Radiology technology program (or equivalent experience accepted)
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
• RHF (Radiology Fluoroscopy)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider
• 12 months hospital setting experience
