Description

Perform routine and specialized radiology/nuclear medicine procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Work independently using sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe, precise procedures and deliver accurate results in a timely manner, while assessing, monitoring, and communicating effectively with patients and care teams. Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and privacy requirements to ensure safe patient care.

• Assess and monitor patients and communicate sensitively and professionally

• Ensure privacy and safety through adherence to regulations and policies

• May perform specific procedures and help orient other staff

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program provided prior to start date

• ARRT (American Register of Radiologic Technologist) certification prior to start date

  • OR CRT/DRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (from the state where work is being performed) prior to start date

  • OR evidence of application for CRT/DRT provided prior to start date

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider upon hire

• Radiology Fluoroscopy (if required at the affiliate): within 180 days of hire
