Description

Regulate and maintain patient appointment schedules for interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, and special procedures, with an MRI scheduling focus. The role coordinates complex, high-volume scheduling needs while maintaining standard workflow and handling daily interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and regulate patient appointment schedules for imaging and special procedures

• Organize and prioritize tasks to complete assignments within allotted time

• Communicate with physicians, employees, patients, and patient families

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED

• 2 years of recent experience

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Intermediate computer skills (keyboarding, mouse movement, data entry, scheduling programs)

• Verbal and written communication skills for frequent and challenging contact

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain standard workflow

• Ability to work flexibly and cooperatively with others

• Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions

• Active listening skills, including interpersonal skills and telephone communication

• Ability to concentrate while handling multiple procedures and interruptions
