Description

Performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently using sound clinical judgment to deliver safe, precise, and timely results. Ensures compliance with all local/state/federal regulations and organizational policies, including patient privacy and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations
• Execute safe and precise procedures independently to deliver accurate, timely results
• Provide patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Adhere to privacy and safety requirements to protect PHI
• May perform specific procedures and/or help orient other staff in the department

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program (prior to start date)
• ARRT (American Register of Radiologic Technologist) certification (prior to start date), OR CRT/DRT certification per the state where work is performed (prior to start date), OR evidence of application for CRT/DRT provided prior to start date
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider upon hire
• Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required

Benefits

• Pay range: $59.06–$72.00/hour
