Description

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will assess, diagnose, plan, and implement medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician. The role includes holistic, individualized care, patient/family education, and coordinating and evaluating nursing care through effective communication and transitions of care. You will practice within the full scope of licensure and follow ambulatory and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policies, and applicable laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans in collaboration with a physician
• Implement and evaluate medical/nursing care with accountability for assessment and coordination
• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans that consider psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Support timely and effective communication among patients, families, physicians, and other providers
• Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations
• Engage in continuous professional growth

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent education/experience)
• NP (Nurse Practitioner) licensure
• NFP (Nurse Practitioner Furnishing) credential
• CSRC (Controlled Substance Registered Certification) with DEA
• ANCC or AANP certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Provider
