Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable vascular surgeon to diagnose and treat vascular system conditions, including deep vein thrombosis and varicose veins, as well as remove blockages and repair damaged blood vessels. The role includes pre-surgical evaluation, coordination with other physicians, performing vascular surgeries, communicating surgical risks to patients, and supporting chronic condition management with appropriate aftercare. You will also stay current with advancements in vascular surgery and maintain meticulous patient records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient histories and schedule consultations prior to surgeries

• Coordinate with other physicians and perform relevant pre-surgery tests

• Treat conditions affecting veins, arteries, and other blood vessels

• Perform surgeries to repair veins and arteries and treat vascular trauma

• Consult with physicians and refer patients to other specialists when needed

• Identify and clearly communicate surgical risks to patients

• Address patient concerns and answer questions

• Stay current with advancements in vascular surgery and broader medical developments

• Schedule follow-ups, monitor well-being, and advise on aftercare and medications

• Build relationships with patients and provide support to their families where possible

Requirements

• MD with specialization in vascular surgery

• Board certification required

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Detail-oriented with meticulous record keeping

• Ability to keep accurate records of patients and procedures

• Ability to follow instructions and think independently

• Dedication to excellence in vascular surgery

• Willingness to network/collaborate with other healthcare professionals
