Description

You will provide comprehensive eye care, including routine eye exams, diagnosing and treating visual disorders, managing eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. You will assess patients’ visual health, recommend treatment options, and educate patients on maintaining optimal eye health. Practice locations feature newly built clinics with state-of-the-art equipment and separate testing and procedure rooms.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine eye exams

• Diagnose and treat visual disorders

• Manage eye diseases

• Prescribe corrective lenses

• Assess visual health, recommend treatment options, and educate patients

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program

• Active state optometry license

• Valid CPR certificate

• Two-plus years of optometrist experience preferred

• Applied understanding of general optometry principles and best practices for diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

• General computer proficiency

• Demonstrated problem solving and multitasking ability
