Description

Service and maintain offshore wind turbines (WTGs) and Balance of Plant (BoP) at offshore wind farms, performing planned maintenance and corrective repairs under supervision. Work includes annual maintenance activities (testing, measuring, sampling, visual inspections, replacements, cleaning, bolt tightening), minor retrofits, foundation maintenance, and inspection of TP-MP flange bolts. You will also handle un-routine replacements/repairs and report findings requiring corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual WTG maintenance: measuring, testing, sampling, visual inspections, routine replacements, cleaning, and bolt tightening
• Carry out corrective actions for basic and complex components (replacements)
• Implement minor upgrades/updates (retrofits)
• Report findings that require corrective actions (immediate or foreseeable)
• Conduct annual foundation maintenance
• Visually inspect TP-MP flange bolts
• Handle un-routine replacements or repairs (e.g., replacing missing bolts, spot repair of coating)
• Complete general repair work according to internal instructions and documentation

Requirements

• Proven education or experience in technical, electrical, or mechanical work
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Offshore Wind Industry (preferably as a Service Technician or comparable role)
• Strong safety focus and willingness to learn and develop in an experienced team
• Availability to work shifts offshore (14 days shift)
• Good English skills (German is a plus)
• Experience as a crane operator or training for offshore crane operation advantageous
• Compliance with internal HSE training requirements, including GWO Basic Safety and Technical Training
