Description

Provide technical solution discovery and sales support for international customers and the field sales team, from early acquisition to order award negotiations. Develop and evaluate application opportunities, align and approve customer specifications, and assess competitor products to create upgrade proposals. Ensure risks are identified and support price and result quality.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers using appropriate presentation materials to support order acquisition
• Proactively accompany customers and worldwide sales colleagues from early acquisition through order award negotiations
• Collaborate with global sales colleagues and internal technical departments to enable sustainable growth
• Compare and approve customer-specific requirements/specifications
• Identify new application opportunities for products and services based on customer needs
• Review and evaluate competitor products; develop upgrade proposals for refurbished competitor solutions
• Recognize and assess risks to ensure price and result quality

Requirements

• Completed technical degree (mechanical engineering, business engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in hydraulics, actuators, and control technology (advantageous)
• Ideally strong overall understanding of turbines and turbomachinery
• Proactive sales work, communication skills, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong customer and results orientation, and confident behavior in intercultural environments
• Good SAP and MS Office knowledge
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel internationally (~20%)
