Description

You will join a team building and maintaining internal banking applications around the payments ecosystem. The work includes implementing business logic in Java, designing and developing RESTful APIs and services, and optimizing application performance. You will also support payment-related processing, maintain automated tests, and contribute code to the client’s repositories.

Responsibilities

• Implement business logic in Java

• Design and develop RESTful APIs/services

• Build and evolve applications supporting payment processing, payment cards, and ATMs

• Work with relational databases and SQL

• Optimize performance of developed solutions

• Create and maintain automated tests

• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality

• Collaborate on internal bank application development and maintenance

• Deliver source code to the client’s repository for assigned tasks

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of Java

• Spring and Spring Boot

• Experience creating APIs and RESTful web services

• Knowledge of OpenAPI 3

• Practical knowledge of Maven and Lombok

• Experience working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL

• SQL knowledge and tools Flyway and jOOQ

• Experience writing automated tests using Spock and Groovy

• Ability to analyze and optimize application performance

• Knowledge of code review process and software development best practices

• Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and ELK

• Practical experience with Docker, and Ansible or OpenShift

• Nice to have: experience with payments, payment cards, or ATM-related projects
