Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java applications and backend systems, implementing new functionality and evolving existing services. The role focuses on REST API development and microservices-based solutions, including both synchronous and asynchronous integrations, with an emphasis on automated testing and code quality. You will collaborate with system analysts, architects, testers, and the rest of the team during development and deployment to test and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and IT systems
• Implement new backend features and evolve existing solutions
• Create and develop REST API services and communication interfaces
• Design and develop microservices-based architecture solutions
• Implement system-to-system integrations using synchronous and asynchronous communication
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality
• Collaborate with system analysts, architects, testers, and the broader project team
• Participate in deployment and ongoing support of applications in test and production environments

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial Java programming experience
• Experience with Java SE 17 (version 17 or higher)
• Good knowledge of Spring Boot 4.x
• Experience in creating and developing REST API services
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of asynchronous communication and message processing
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience writing automated tests
• Knowledge of tools: Git, Maven, Jira, Jenkins
• Knowledge of standards: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
